Let the Oppressed Go Free is a life-sized bronze sculpture standing 22.5’ long, 4’ wide and 8’ tall weighing 2.5 tons. The original sculpture was made from clay at Schmalz’s studio. From that, he made a rubber mold which was sent to a foundry to make the bronze cast.
