At our Annual Corporation Meeting, we were honored to recognize Bill Oatey and Rev. David Buegler as Community West Foundation’s newest Life Trustees and add their names to the Foundation’s Honor Wall. This distinction celebrates individuals whose leadership, years of service, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our organization and the communities we serve.
Bill’s vision and leadership were instrumental in establishing the Community Impact Fund, creating a meaningful and enduring way for mission-aligned donors to support our nonprofit partners. His commitment to philanthropy has helped strengthen the Foundation’s ability to address critical challenges and invest in opportunities that improve quality of life across our region.
David’s thoughtful service on the Grants Committee helped guide funding decisions that strengthened nonprofit organizations and improved the health and well-being of countless individuals and families. His insight, compassion, and dedication have left a lasting mark on the Foundation’s grantmaking efforts.
The celebration was made even more special by the presence of their wives, Jill Oatey and Susan Buegler, who joined us as we recognized Bill and David for their remarkable contributions.
