The Community West Foundation Board of Directors has approved $551,000 in first-quarter grants to nonprofit agencies serving Cleveland, Western Cuyahoga, and Lorain Counties. In addition, $151,000 was distributed through the Community Impact Fund, a unique initiative that allows donors to contribute alongside Community West’s mission, knowing their gifts will be distributed directly to grantees. Every dollar given to the Community Impact Fund goes directly to nonprofit recipients, ensuring donor contributions have a direct and meaningful impact. This brings the total grant distribution to $702,000.
This quarter’s grants focus on mission areas that include addressing food insecurity and supporting refugees and immigrants, ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to essential resources and opportunities to build a stable future.
“At Community West Foundation, we are committed to funding organizations that bring hope, stability, and dignity to those in need,” said Marty Uhle, President and CEO of Community West Foundation. “The grant recipients exemplify the compassion and dedication that drive meaningful change in our community. The additional funding from our Community Impact Fund is a testament to the generosity of our donors and their commitment to uplifting those who need it most.”
