Gift of Life Celebrates Fairview Hospital and Generations of People Served

Community West Foundation and Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital brought together over 1,300 people to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Tuesday, August 1 for the 2023 Gift of Life Event. Gift of Life celebrates Fairview Hospital, which has been serving the needs of families in the Greater Cleveland Area for more than 125 years.  Fairview caregivers provide services for women preparing to become mothers, for babies when they make their arrival, care for children at every stage and so much more.

Gift of Life attendees enjoyed special programming and presentations highlighting Fairview Hospital including remarks from Dr. Neil Smith, Dr. Amy Stephens, Dr. Jalal Abu-Shaweesh, Nora Knipper, Debbie Norton and Brittany Ponziani.
Throughout the night, guests received exclusive access to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and their flagship event: Asian Lantern Festival. Attendees enjoyed complimentary rides on the Circle of Wildlife Carousel, Get Close Small Animal Experience provided by the zoo education team, Superhero & Princess character experiences, face painting, refreshments, photobooth, raffles and so much more. Each guest left with a special Gift of Life magnet photo frame.

Thank you to the sponsors, families, attendees, caregivers and volunteers who made the 2023 Gift of Life a success.

Gift of Life proceeds will support programs and services geared toward women and children at Fairview Hospital.
