Will my donation go directly to those who are homeless?
Yes. If you donate items needed for SocksPLUS, they will go to the homeless. Keep in mind, Common Threads and Good Neighbor Thrift Shop accept all types of in-kind donations which directly benefit the ministries of Building Hope in the City and Avon Lake United Church of Christ.

Will I receive a receipt for my taxes?
Yes. Both drop off locations will provide you with a tax receipt for your donation to SocksPLUS.

Can I still drop off a SocksPLUS donation at Community West Foundation in Westlake?
Unfortunately, there is no room for donations at Community West Foundation. Please drop off your SocksPLUS donations at Common Threads in Fairview Park or Good Neighbor Thrift Shop in Avon Lake.

How do I make a monetary donation to SocksPLUS?
Click here to donate online now.  You can also drop off or mail a check to our office located at 800 Sharon Drive in Westlake.
