31st Annual Pediatric Toy Run Brings Comfort to Fairview Hospital’s Youngest Patients
Nearly 300 motorcyclists took to Cleveland’s West Side on July 11 for the 31st Annual Pediatric Toy Run, a long-standing community tradition benefiting pediatric patients at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital.
Hosted by Community West Foundation in partnership with Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, Rock-n-Roll City Harley-Davidson, American Legion Post 703, the HOG Chapter, and event founder Mike Stevens, the Toy Run raised over $24,000 and collected over 800 stuffed animals to bring comfort and smiles to children receiving care.
A special thank you goes to American Legion Post 703 for their generous $10,000 donation, the organization’s largest contribution to the Toy Run to date. The event also welcomed presenting sponsors Ohio CAT and Ohio Peterbilt, whose teams donated more than 500 stuffed animals and transported all donations to Fairview Hospital following the ride. Their ceremonial toy drop featuring a wheel loader was a memorable highlight of the day.
For more than three decades, the Pediatric Toy Run has demonstrated the power of community partnerships and generosity, providing comfort to young patients and their families when they need it most.
