Bishop Edward Malesic joined Community West Foundation, St. Augustine Church and guests on March 25 to bless a new Be Welcoming sculpture by artist Timothy Schmalz. Generously gifted to Community West Foundation by an anonymous donor, the sculpture depicts a weary traveler who transforms into an angel, reflecting Jesus’ call to welcome the stranger. The artwork joins the Foundation’s Matthew 25 Collection sculptures located on the west-side of Cleveland.
