Help the Homeless Today

sockplus campaign circle logo
No one should have to go without the basic necessities required for human dignity.

At Community West Foundation, the plight of the homeless has always been an issue we care deeply about. In 2014, we started the SocksPLUS initiative after learning that socks were, and still are, the number one requested item by the homeless.

A gift of just $10 will help us purchase 10 pairs of socks.

A larger donation provides socks PLUS gloves, hats, boots and other necessities that are so desperately needed. When you support SocksPLUS, 100% of your donation is used immediately to provide caring assistance to our struggling neighbors.

Collection Drives:
SocksPLUS has evoked emotion and inspired people to act. We have over 100 groups of individuals, churches, schools and businesses who have supported this effort by collecting socks and other most needed items for the homeless. Become part of the movement and start your own collection.

SocksPLUS items needed for the homeless:
• New Socks
• New Underwear
• Toiletries
• Winter Gloves and Hats
• Backpacks
• Sleeping Bags
• Tents (must be folded tightly in order to be accepted for donation)
