Bishop Edward Malesic joined Community West Foundation, St. Augustine Church and guests on March 25 to bless a new Be Welcoming sculpture by artist Timothy Schmalz. Generously gifted to Community West Foundation by an anonymous donor, the sculpture depicts a weary traveler who transforms into an angel, reflecting Jesus’ call to welcome the stranger. The artwork joins the Foundation’s Matthew 25 Collection sculptures by the same artist located on the west-side of Cleveland.
