2019 Grant Recipients

Community West Foundation is responsive to local community issues and this past year distributed $2,375,500 to 56 of our area's nonprofit organizations. More important than the numbers, are the people and organizations that benefited from these grants, and who depend on our vigilance. We also provided an additional $1,768,342 to Fairview and Lutheran Hospitals to support their valuable work.

As a grant funder, we see that the needs of our community continue to increase; hunger, homelessness, disability, unemployment and lack of health insurance are some of the problems our fellow citizens continue to experience. We’ve also learned that our neighbors increasingly suffer from many needs, not just one.

Each year, we see an increase in innovation and collaboration between partners to combine strengths and achieve greater results. Each new year also brings new areas of need in our community. Click here to learn more about western Cuyahoga County programs that need support in 2019.
