Community Service Alliance
Ministry to the Homeless
Single homeless men are not eligible for as many services and types of support as women and children, and are the hardest segment of the homeless population to serve.
Community Service Alliance helps homeless men move from shelters to transitional housing, achieve self-sufficiency, and ultimately maintain permanent housing.
A $30,000 grant from Community West Foundation for the Member Support Program will directly benefit the lives of seven men by providing each with the necessary financial, spiritual, and relational support to secure and maintain self-sufficiency.
Men can become a part of the program after they have committed to turn their lives around and have gone through a rigorous training program and detox when necessary. Through the program they gain stability, establish goals, and are given job skills in order to seek required employment. We have been a proud supporter of this program for the past three years offering nearly $85,000 in support.
