The Legacy Society was created in 2001 to recognize leaders who value the importance of  philanthropy and believe in and support the work of the Community West Foundation. Through a spirit of benevolence, the Legacy Society members honor the giving traditions of earlier generations and secure the well-being for those to come by creating a planned gift or establishing a Fund. 

 

Each year, the Foundation hosts an annual dinner to thank Legacy Society Members for their generosity, and to highlight some of the exciting work made possible through their gifts. At the dinner, the Art of Caring Award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding philanthropic leadership. The Legacy Society has grown to include 100 members. Thank you to these donors for their capacity for generosity, goodness and vision.
